Audi Dismantles An R8 In The Name Of Art

I’ll be the first to admit I’m one of those people who just doesn’t get ‘Art’. While I hold utmost admiration for those who can perfect a detailed painting or an enormous sculpture, I’m unable to perceive let alone appreciate any deeper meaning that went into said creation. Sadly, therefore, I never spend more than a moment taking it in. There is an exception to every rule, however, and this is it…

Fabian Oefner – the artist commissioned by the German Supercar maker to create this masterpiece said,

“A lot of people will look at the photograph and say it’s fake, and that’s fine,” Fabian said, adding, “But maybe the five percent that look a bit longer and a bit closer – they will see somebody’s actually photographed every single piece.

“As a gift from myself to them, [they will] see a beautiful photograph with a beautiful story behind it.”
