Packed with as much action as we can squeeze in, our Hill Climb, Car Clubs, Dream Rides will be back and better than ever. Read on for more exciting motorsport highlights new for 2016.
Taking centre stage every year our track sprint show is guaranteed to make you stop, look and listen! With our wildly eccentric, gorgeously eclectic and fabulously exciting line up it won’t fail to disappoint. Watch our drivers in their pride and joys as they perform stunts, burn outs, wheel spins all for your entertainment. The live show is aired on our big screens across the site and features commentary so you can’t miss out! The theme for this year is ‘Time Tunnel’: expect to be taken on a journey through time as we explore the history of the motorcar.
Realise your dream with the opportunity to ride in a car you’ve always dreamed about! From Ferrari to Lamborghini, the Sporting Bears really do spoil us with their fabulous selection of privately owned classics and sports cars we call ‘Dream Ride’ cars.
Every ride with the ‘Bears’, as they’re affectionately known, raises money for Children In Need. Through your generosity, last year they raised a whopping £111,300 for the charity. Truly ‘Dreamy’!
This year the Vintage Village is back but bigger and better! As one of 2015’s most popular features, we’re taking you back in time once again.
For 2016, we plan to celebrate a journey through history from the vintage 30’s through to the swinging 60’s and groovy 70’s. Step into our village street scene where you’ll find market traders, tea rooms, sweet shops, a florist, a vintage bakery, café, saloon bar, hair salon and even a beauticians.
The Car Club displays are a center piece to the Vintage Village. A short stroll around and you’ll find our streets lined with perfectly presented cars appropriate to each ear, from meticulously prepared Morgan’s to pristine Porsches.
Whilst visiting the village, CarFest visitors will be entertained by the wonderful musicians on the Village stage, the re-enactors, dancers, photo booth and interactive display.
