DUBVAG 2018 January meet!

As promised, we are back! After a nice (not so relaxing) Christmas/new year break It’s great to be bringing back our much loved and enjoyed Sunday daytime get togethers. It’s a chilled day out with a relaxing but fun atmosphere where people of all ages can get together and talk about their shared passion for German vehicles. Plus the opportunity to show off your pride and joy! All this alongside the truly fantastic location it surely is a must in any German car enthusiasts calendar.
We always get a great turnout at our monthly meets but the last one of 2017 was even bigger so thank you to all who came to it, and a huge thank you to everyone who came along throughout 2017. You guys make it all worthwhile!
2017 was a great year for us and I’m sure 2018 is going to be even better!

Right, now down to the important info, PLEASE READ and remember to follow the rules. They’re in place for everyone’s safety and the security of future meets.
So there are a few rules we must follow,
Please don’t park on any area that has hatched markings or that is coned off! (Upon arrival I will guide you to where you need to park)
Do not walk or drive onto the airfield itself, it is active so will have planes and helicopters landing and taking off.
There have been areas allocated for us to use.
Because it’s an active airfield please keep dogs on leads if you want to bring them.
And as always please be respectful, this is a gathering for dub and/or vag enthusiasts who want to get together and have a nice day out, not a late night supermarket car park burnout competition! And please don’t litter!
There’s a museum called Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, well worth a look. There’s no looking from a distance behind a rope. You are allowed to get up close to these aircraft and even sit in the cockpits.
There is also a cafe that sells hot and cold food and drinks.
The toilets are located in the cafe.
And remember our tech guy Dale Rengert will have his VCDS on him if anyone needs a quick diagnostics or maybe some cheeky hidden features on their motor turned on 🙂
