The MIA School of Race Mechanics offers you the chance to be one of twenty students on this employer-supported programme –160 hours of learning to give YOU a head start in your race career.
Based at Donington from November 2016 these hands-on, pit garage practical and classroom courses are taught by successful, current race car and current bike mechanics who share their experience with you.
- Race Car Mechanics will work on GT, Touring and Formula cars for knowledge of open and closed wheel racing.
- Race Bike Mechanics will work on current race bikes from various series, used for practical hands-on learning.
The courses provide all technical, practical and mechanical knowledge required by a race mechanic, and include organised tours to race teams and a visit to Autosport International, Europe’s largest motorsport show.
