Over the years, the annual event, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2016, has evolved attracting growing numbers of car enthusiasts and families to the action-packed weekend. In 2016, The Supercar Event raised over £100,000 for The Children’s Trust.
Attractions
Car events are great if you just want to look at some amazing cars but ultimately they’re unsatisfying. What does the car sound like? How fast does it go? What does the acceleration feel like? At The Supercar Event your driver can answer all your questions whilst taking you on an exhilarating ride around The Top Gear track.
We also have helicopters, Caterham Seven’s and a wealth of other attractions with more being added through the year.
One of questions we frequently get asked is do the drivers get paid to do this? And the answer is no, the owners all volunteer their time, fuel and tyres for nothing. Without their generosity we simply wouldn’t be able to raise as much money as we do for The Children’s Trust.
Pre-bookable Rides & Attractions
Supercar rides booked in advance £30 – booked on the day £35 (pre-booking highly recommended)
Fast Track rides booked in advance £60 – booked on the day £70 (This means you join a separate queue and have more choice of the car you ride in)
Hypercar & Lexus rides can only be booked on the day, from £100
Helicopter rides booked in advance £35-45 – booked on the day £35-40 (pre-booking highly recommended)
Stay Safe Driving School (14+) In advance £20 On the day £20
Diggerland 4×4 Driving experience £29.00

Here are some of our other attractions that can be booked on the day. Our advice is to get there early!
Hypercar rides – A once in a life time chance to ride in one of the top Hypercars (subject to availability), cars announced on the day so listen for announcements!
Lexus LFA rides – We have 8 rides available each day in this amazing Supercar! Go to the Lexus stand
Sporting Bear Dream Rides – Choose from an amazing choice of cars and enjoy a passenger ride that takes you out of the venue and onto the open roads
Caterham Seven Rides – You will lose count of the number of times you drift and spin (age 14+)!
Mini-tanks – Your chance to drive an authentic 400-tonne Tiger Tank (age 8+)
Segway Rides – Fantastic fun, a must-try!
Hovercraft Rides – Experience the unique sensation of travelling on a cushion of air with speed and swirls (age limits apply)
Active Simulators – Utilising some of the latest simulation technology
Blazing Squad – Fire engine rides for the whole family
Diggerland – Ride in a big yellow JCB!
Water zorbs and bungie trampolines
Diggerland 4×4 course passenger rides.
Mobile Cave – A unique mobile caving experience with approximately 30 linear meters (100ft) of tunnels, potholes, squeezes and caverns to negotiate your way through!
Climbing Wall – Our climbing wall has four sides to enable four people to climb at one time, with over 8 different climbing routes.
Mini Monster Truck Mania – Children and adults can enjoy a taste of what it’s like to pilot a monster truck in the pocket sized replicas driven around our designated course
Crazy Golf – brush up on your golfing skills on our miniature golf course
Archery – test your nerve and skills in our archery taster session
Children’s fun area with rides, a Play Bus, face painting and special guest Peppa Pig.
Enjoy a drink in the Routemaster Bar.

Lunchtime Displays 12:30-14:00
Watch the magnificent Caterham Seven display and the De Dion Bouton parade on the track.

Supercar Draw 13:30
Raffle to be drawn for the first Supercar ride after lunch on Saturday and on Sunday.
Radio Jackie will provide music throughout the whole weekend in the food village and the Routemaster Bus Bar will provide much needed refreshments by the Ticket Tent
