It’s called the SuperSport and it’s beaten Bugatti to the title of ‘fastest four-seater ever’. With a top speed of 209 mph and a blistering 0-60 time of just 3.5 seconds, it has to be the ultimate machine for family fun.
Bentley is known as one of the leaders in the luxury vehicle market with its continental being one of the best sellers in the industry. I’ve always been pretty reluctant to getting excited about any ‘new’ continental editions as there have been so many. This one however, this is different. Starting with the 6.0-Litre W12 power plant which now squeezes and extra 79 horsepower and 160 lb-ft of torque over its 2009 SuperSport predecessor. Figures are now ramped up to 700 Horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque! To harness this power a rear biased 4WD system has been fitted with a dual clutch 8 speed transmission.
Not Enough? A convertible version of the SuperSport has also been released with a slightly lower top speed of 205 mph and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds. This still makes it the fastest convertible 4-seater on the market. If only the grand Sport Vitesse had 4 seats hey?
