I get scared whenever I talk to a fellow petrol head about the Fast & Furious franchise. You see, I stopped caring a long time ago. The films became steadily less and less about cars and street racing. It’s now all about gun fights, bad acting and clichés.
In the latest installment Dom gets seduced by Charlize Theron – easily done – and turns on his entire family. No doubt Charlize’s character Cipher will have kidnapped Brian and Mia or [insert underwhelming plot here] and no doubt it will all be resolved after an hour and half of over inflated egos, ludicrous stunts and general nonsense.
