We’ve seen all kinds of Nürburgring crashes over the years. Everything from high speed barrier smashes to plain embarrassing mishaps. However, this ones a bit different. This is the only ‘Ring accident I can recall, that lasted longer than most plane crashes.

As soon as it comes into frame you can see that the GT3 is in trouble sliding over the grass. In trying to correct the car, the driver sends the 997 Porsche into a wild tank slapper before getting slightly airborne over one of the Nürburgring’s notoriously high kerbs. The car finally comes to a stop when its ankle deep in the kitty litter. Thankfully, the GT3 didn’t hit the Armco so, it’s likely that the damage will be repairable.
