The Grand Tour host is believed to have been involved in a serious crash in Switzerland. Hammond has recently been seen driving the Rimac Concept One, a £2million pound super electric car. According to Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten, the 47-year-old was driving on a road that had been closed for the Bergrennen Hemberg race before the car left the road, rolled and burst into flames.

Update
It has been confirmed that Hammond is in a stable condition in hospital. The only injury he sustained was a fratured knee.
It was the biggest crash I've ever seen and the most frightening but incredibly, and thankfully, Richard seems to be mostly OK.
